Verify Installed Software Versions
After installing the Alarm Manager software, take a few minutes to verify that the
installation process installed the correct versions of software. The instructions in this
section guide you through the steps of verifying the software.
Verifying Installed Software Versions
Follow these instructions to verify the installed software versions.
1 From an xterm window on the DNCS, type pkginfo -l SAIdncs and then press

2 Is the version of installed DNCS software the same as the version you supported
prior to installing the Alarm Manager software?
If yes, go to step 3.
If no, call Cisco Services for assistance in determining why your DNCS
software version changed.

Network Management Interface Software Checklist (on page 5)
where you recorded the version of DNCS software that was installed on your
system.
3 From an xterm window on the DNCS, type pkginfo -l SAInmi and then press
Enter. The system displays the installed version of NMI software.
4 Is the version of installed NMI software 1.0.0.8?
If yes, go to step 5.
If no, call Cisco Services for assistance in determining why the incorrect
version of NMI software installed.
5 Follow these instructions to verify the installed version of Alarm Manager server
software.
a From the DBDS EMS Server Administration window, click About. The
