The FTP Proxy displays a predefined notification message to native FTP clients when there is
an error with FTP Proxy authentication. You can customize this FTP notification with a custom
message.

To configure IronPort FTP notification messages:
1. Navigate to the Security Services > End-User Notification page, and click Edit Settings.
2. Scroll down to the Native FTP section.
3. In the Language field, select the language to use when displaying native FTP notification
messages.
4. In the Custom Message field, enter the text you want to display in every native FTP
notification message.
5. Submit and commit your changes.
