SECURE REMOTE ACCESS
In recent years, there has been an increased dependence on mobile workers. Today, your office
is wherever you are: at home, at the airport, at a café. There is greater demand for secure
remote access to more resources from more remote devices and platforms than ever—including
smartphones and tablet devices—as well as a corresponding demand for remote PC control and
support. While traditional IPSec solutions are viable for fixed site-to-site VPNs, pre-installing and
maintaining, IPSec clients on remote or distributed devices can be costly and inefficient. In addition,
disaster preparedness requires work to can continue from anywhere with the ability to support a
spike in the number of remote access users.
SonicWALL® Secure Remote Access (SRA) Series offers small- to medium-sized businesses easy to
deploy, clientless and NetExtender based tunnel access that provides rich and secure access to
email, files, web applications and internal web sites. Tethered and mobile employees only require
a standard browser to log into a customizable portal that support multiple platforms including
Windows®, MacOS®, Linux®, Apple iOS, Android® and Windows Mobile.
The SRA Series also provides multi-platform options for remote support and remote PC control in the
form of Virtual Assist/Virtual Access, as well as the optional Web Application Firewall (WAF) Service
for data leakage protection and PCI compliance .
The SRA Series eliminates the costs of deploying and maintaining traditional IPSec VPNs while
delivering great performance at an affordable price. The SRA Series is easy to manage and use, and
offers granular unified policy, two-factor authentication, load balancing, high availability, and spike
