13-slot multilayer director; modular chassis requires 2 slots for Supervisor-2 modules, with 11

slots available for switching modules. Supervisor-2 module provides control engine for MDS

9513. Two crossbar modules provide 2.2 Tbps of chassis switching bandwidth.

Cisco MDS 9509 Multilayer Director (DS-C9509)

9-slot multilayer director; modular chassis requires 2 slots for supervisor modules, with 7 slots
