CISCO IDS SENSOR SOFTWARE VERSION 3.X UPGRADE OPTIONS

The upgrade from Cisco IDS Sensor Software Version 3.x to Version 4.0 requires a CD. Customers with Cisco SMARTnet

maintenance

contracts can obtain the CD at no charge. CD requests can be made at:

Cisco IDS Sensor Software Version 4.0 will operate only on Cisco IDS sensors with the following part numbers (and newer):

•

IDS-4210, IDS-4210-K9, IDS-4220-E ,IDS-4230-FE,IDS-4235-K9, IDS-4250-SX-K9, IDS-4250-TX-K9, IDS-4250-XL-K9
