New and Changed Information
Cisco IPS 7.0(8)E4 contains the following new and changed information:
Cisco.com IP address change in the Auto Update configuration
Caution
In IPS 7.0(8)E4 the default value of the Cisco server IP address has been changed from 198.133.219.25 
to 72.163.4.161 in the Auto Update URL configuration. If you have automatic update configured on your 
sensor, you may need to update firewall rules to allow the sensor to connect to this new IP address.
Signature update S615
Note
This service pack contains the S615 signature level, but preserves any more recent signature 
levels installed on your sensor.
IDM 7.1.3
The Sensor and Jumbo Packet Frame Size
For IPS standalone appliances with 1 G and 10 G fixed or add-on interfaces, the maximum jumbo frame 
size is 9216 bytes. 
Note
A jumbo frame is an Ethernet packet that is larger than the standard maximum of 1518 bytes (including 
Layer 2 header and FCS).
MySDN Decommissioned
Because MySDN has been decommissioned, the URL in older versions of the IDM and the IME is no 
longer functional. If you are using IPS 6.0 or later, we recommend that you upgrade your version of the 
IDM and the IME.
You can upgrade to the following versions to get the functioning MySDN URL:
IME 7.2.1
IPS 7.0(8), which contains IDM 7.1.1
