Cisco IPS 7.2(1)E4 contains the following new and changed information:

Certified for FIPS 140-2 level 1 and Common Criteria NDPP v1.1 compliance.
Continuing support for the IPS 4345, IPS 4360, IPS 4510, IPS 4520, ASA 5585-X IPS SSP series, 
and ASA 5500-X IPS SSP series sensors.
Support for Quack-related anti-counterfeit checks for the IPS 4300 and IPS 4500 series sensors.
Supports TLS 1.0 and later—If the peer uses an older SSL version, the connection cannot be 
established. 
Handling of UDLD/STP packets in bypass mode for IPS 4500s configured in inline VLAN pair 
mode. 
For automatic update, you can now configure a proxy or DNS server to resolve the host name and 
download updates from Cisco.com. A new command, autoupdatenow, lets you perform an 
immediate update on the sensor. Automatic update now has a dummy schedule by default. The 
command, autoupdatenow, does not use the dummy schedule. 
New flow depth and service activity parameters have been added to the Analysis Engine global 
parameters command.
