To add a new community:
STEP 1
Click Add.

Community Name—Specify an alphanumeric name, up to 16 characters.

Configuring Trap Settings
The Trap Settings page is used to specify which traps you want to enable or
disable. When the condition identified by an active trap is encountered by the
switch, a trap message is sent to any enabled SNMP trap receiver, and a message
is written to the trap log.

To configure SNMP trap settings:

Click SNMP > Trap Settings in the navigation window.

Select each event for which a trap is to be generated:

Link Mode Notifications—The status of a link changes to up or down.
