Configures the name, IP address, and port of servers belonging to this group and enters the Server Configuration Mode.

Specifies a name for the server. 

 must be from 1 to 79 alpha and/or numeric characters in length. 

Specifies the IP address of the server. 

 is expressed in dotted decimal notation for IPv4 or 

colon notation for IPv6. 

Specifies the domain name of the peer server. 

 must be from 1 to 255 alpha and/or numeric 

characters in length. 

Specifies the port number of the server. 

 must be an integer value from 1 to 65535. 

Specifies the transport type (TCP or UDP). 

Default: 5 
Specifies a weighted number for the specific peer server for load balancing purposes. 

 must be an 

integer value from 1 to 10. Higher weight implies larger server capability (and more routed requests). 

  This keyword is only valid if the 

 keyword is applied to the 

 

command in this mode. 

Removes the specified server from the group.
