This command upgrades the programmables on the line card.

Upgrades programmables on the specified line card. Must be followed by a slot number of the card to 
upgrade. 

  This command should only be used if instructed by or working with Technical Support. 

This keyword indicates the linear flash function and is most commonly used with the OLC (ATM optical line 
card) and CLC (Frame Relay optical line card) cards. 
The system automatically senses the line card type so this keyword is obsoleted for releases 10.0 and higher. 

For release 9.0, this keyword indicates the upgrade destination for the QGLC and XGLC.  
The system automatically senses the line card type so this keyword is obsoleted for releases 10.0 and higher. 

This command upgrades the firmware on the line card. 

  This command is not supported on all platforms.
