Cisco Cisco Packet Data Gateway (PDG)

This command allows you to define rule expressions to match host names (domain names).

ACS

Security Administrator, Administrator

Exec > ACS Configuration > Ruledef Configuration

active-charging service service_name > ruledef ruledef_name

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt:

[local]

(config-acs-ruledef)#

[ no ] ip server-domain-name operator domain_name

If previously configured, deletes the specified rule expression from the current ruledef.

Specifies how to match.

operator must be one of the following:

• =: Equals

• contains: Contains

• ends-with: Ends with

• starts-with: Starts with

Specifies the domain name to match.

domain_name must be an alphanumeric string of 1 through 127 characters.

Use this command to define rule expressions to match full or partial host names (domain names).

The rule will be matched for the learnt IP addresses resolved from DNS queries to the specified domain names.
DNS responses for the specified domain names will be snooped and the learnt IP addresses stored.
