This command controls the maximum number of Link Managers that can be configured for an SGSN.

Resets the value to 4.
max max_linkmgrs
Sets the maximum number of LinkMgrs configurable for the SGSN.
max_linkmgrs is an integer from 1 to 4. With Release 15.0, the range is from 1 to 12.
It is recommended to restrict the number of Link Managers for PSC2 to a maximum of "4” due to memory
constraints. Similarly the number of Link Managers for PSC3 can be limited to "4" when the minimal
hardware configuration of "4" PSC cards is used. If the Link Managers are overloaded, then the number
of Link Managers can be increased based on the number of cards available and associated ASP links needs
to be updated.

Usage Guidelines
By default, 4 LinkMgrs will be started in the system when an SGSN service configuration is present. Use this
command to change the maximum number of LinkMgrs to be started in the system.
