Usage
Use this command to set the idle time duration and micro-checkpoint-periodicity timer for subscriber session
to determine the dormant session. Operators can configure this setting to a large value to suit their need to
reduce the number of micro-checkpoints on the SRP link. When this CLI command is configured,
idleseconds micro-checkpoints are sent at configured regular intervals to the standby chassis. If not
configured, micro-checkpoints are sent at intervals of 10 seconds, which is the default.

Important:
Either the
micro-checkpoint-deemed-idle
or
micro-checkpoint-periodicity
value can
be configured for idle time duration. Any change from
micro-checkpoint-deemed-idle
to
micro-checkpoint-
periodicity
, or vice versa, requires removing the first configuration before adding the new configuration.
Example
Following command sets the idle timeout duration to 10 seconds and micro-checkpoint-periodicity to 15
seconds.
