This section identifies all of the L-ESS enhancements included in this release: 

Feature Changes - new or modified features or behavior changes. For details, refer to the L-ESS Administration Guide 
for this release. 

L-ESS is used for pulling and pushing files from one or more remote/local server to one or more remote/destination 
servers. 

Previous Behavior:  L-ESS supports file transfer over IPv4. 

New Behavior:  With Release 17.0, L-ESS will also support file transfer over IPv6.  

This feature change also includes the following: 



 

SNMP receiver will be IPv4 or IPv6 addressable. 



 

RedHat OS NTP package/utility will support IPv6. 



 

Veritas HA software works over IPv6.
