About this Guide 
 
This preface describes the Statistics and Counters Reference and its document conventions. 
This document provides descriptive information for the various non-MIB forms of statistics, often called counters, 
generated by the StarOS™. In this document, these statistics are divided into two categories: bulk statistics and statistics 
output by CLI show commands.  
Refer to the Statistics and Counters Overview chapter for more information about the structure and content of this 
reference.
