Creating SAP System Targets
ABAP Target
Use the New SAP System wizard to create a target for an SAP system that resides on an SAP ABAP
application server and the SAP database that is associated with the system.

Before You Begin
The SAP ABAP targets require that certain files be installed on the Cisco Process Orchestrator server

Step 1
Choose Definitions > Targets > New > SAP System to launch the New SAP System Wizard, then click
Next.

On the System Setup panel, complete the required information (see

On the ABAP Connection panel, enter the connection information for the SAP ABAP system (see

On the Server Availability panel, specify the ABAP application servers that you want to monitor for
availability and the ability to log in a user. All detected servers are checked by default. Verify that the
check box next to each server that you want to monitor is checked, then click Next.

On the Database Connection panel (if you selected to monitor the SAP database), choose the Database
type from the drop-down list to display the fields for the specific type of database. Enter the information
in the appropriate fields for the selected database type and specify the default runtime user for the
database.

Click Next to display the Completing the SAP System Wizard panel.

Verify that the information is correct and click Finish to complete the procedure.
