Modifying Connection Information
You can modify the UCS Manager host or change the default runtime user record that connects to the 
host server using the Connection tab on the Cisco UCS Manager Properties dialog box.
Step 1
In the Definitions view, click Targets to display the defined targets in the Targets pane.
Step 2
Double-click the Cisco UCS Manager target or right-click and choose Properties.
Step 3
On the Cisco UCS Manager Properties dialog box, click the Connection tab.
Status
Display only. Indicates the status of the target. The 
status determines whether the target is available or 
unavailable for process or activity execution.
  •
Unknown—Status of the target cannot be 
identified.
  •
Normal—No known problems with this target.
  •
Unreachable—Target cannot currently be reached.
  •
Disabled—Target is disabled and in unvailable for 
activity execution.
Status information
Display only. Detailed information regarding the target 
status and the reasons for the target being unreachable.
Organization
Name of the organization that supports the target.
Description
Text description of the target.
Enabled
Check or uncheck the check box to enable or disable the 
target. The check box is checked by default to indicate 
the target is enabled.
