To add the Analytics Indexer, complete the following:

On the Job Scheduler node, log in as bnisplunk user.

At the prompt, enter the following command:

cd /opt/splunk/etc/deployment-apps/CDN_JS/bin

Add the indexer using the following command:

/opt/splunk/bin/splunk cmd python configure_indexers.py

add bniindexer1

Where the bniindexer is the name of the indexer being added.

If you want to add more than one Indexers, leave a space after the first Indexer
name.

To deploy CDS Delivery Server/Services in an analytics node, complete the following:

On the Job Scheduler node, log in as bnisplunk user.

At the prompt, enter the following command:

crontab -e

Add the following string to #b:

*/5 * * * * /opt/splunk/bin/splunk cmd python /opt/splunk/etc/apps/CDN_JS/bin/getCDSTopology.py
