This new CDE280 devices, may be shipped with this updated software that will be compatible with the
latest CDE280 BIOS FW 2.09a.
Firmware and Patch Update
The next process is to apply the patch to CDE280. Cisco customers running with VDS-IS
versions 4.1.2b2 and 4.2.1b8 on CDE280 devices must apply VDS-IS patch and execute
the following CDE280 firmware update.
VDS-IS Patch Apply
The CDE280 patch can be downloaded from release 4.3.1
1. Download the script to CDE280 device with 4.1.2 / 4.2.1 image.
2. Execute the script – patch-cde280.sh.
