The second generation of Cisco Content Delivery Engines (CDEs) offers convenient migration options for all CDE 

200 models listed in this end-of-life announcement. These new CDEs offer higher scalability,superior reliability,and 

industry-leading performance in high-density designs. Depending on the Cisco Content Delivery 

Application,customers can choose between two models of CDE 220 as replacements for CDE 200. Customers 

currently running TV Playout or Integrated Vault Streamer (ISV) applications on CDE 200 can migrate to CDE 220 

Model 2D1,and customers running Internet Streamer,Service Router,or Content Acquirer applications on CDE 200 

can migrate to CDE 220 Model 2G2. Information about CDE220 and other new models can be found at:

Customers can use the Cisco Technology Migration Program (TMP) to trade-in products and receive credit toward 

the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about Cisco TMP, customers should work with their

Customers may be able to continue to purchase the Cisco Content Delivery Engine 200 and Spares through the 

Cisco Certified Refurbished Equipment program. Refurbished units may be available in limited supply for sale in
