Configure OCAP Delivery System Parameters
By default, TSBroadcasters for OCAP systems are configured for modulation with
the following parameters.

699 MHz
Modulation Mode
SCTE Mode 1 (64 QAM)
If your receiver relies on inband SI from the TSBroadcaster for tuning, configure the
modulator and receiver to use these settings and tune your receiver.
If your receiver relies on out-of-band (OOB) SI from a headend system for tuning or
If your receiver relies on out-of-band (OOB) SI from a headend system for tuning or
you cannot use the settings above, you need to change the TSBroadcaster settings.
You will need to ensure that transport stream and service parameters are consistent
between the TSBroadcaster and the transmission system (which may be re-
multiplexing and re-mapping the inband transport stream from TSBroadcaster). To
do this through the TSBroadcaster client UI, see Chapter 3, Using the
TSBroadcaster, for instructions on Create an OCAP Stream and on Create an OCAP
Service. When you have entered parameters that are consistent with the headend
settings, tune your receiver.
When you tune your receiver, you should find a single transport stream containing
When you tune your receiver, you should find a single transport stream containing
two services. If you cannot find a signal when you tune your receiver, see Cannot
Tune to Stream in Chapter 11, Troubleshooting.
