Install the DNCS Software on an Enterprise 450 or Sun Fire V880 DNCS
Introduction
In this section, you will install the SR 2.5 or SR 3.5 software on to an Enterprise 450
or Sun Fire V880 DNCS.

DBDS Maintenance CD should still be in the CD drive of the DNCS, and you should
still be logged on to an xterm window on the DNCS as root user.
CAUTION:
If you have entries in the /etc/vfstab file to automatically mount NFS file
systems, you need to comment out those specific entries prior to running this
procedure. The pkgadd command is likely to fail in a Live Upgrade
environment if there are NFS mounts present in the /etc/vfstab file; commenting
these entries out resolves the issue. You need to put these entries back manually
after the upgrade is complete, or after you have rolled back the system.
Installing the DNCS Software on an Enterprise 450 or Sun Fire V880 DNCS
Follow these instructions to install the DNCS software on the Enterprise 450 or Sun
Fire V880 DNCS.

In the xterm window, type /cdrom/cdrom0/s3/sai/scripts/Media/SAmenu and
then press Enter.
