This section lists the CRs that were found while testing this software. Efforts to 
address these issues are ongoing in the Cisco laboratories. 

 

If a QAM is not selected on the session list GUI, then the session list incorrectly 
displays a list of all the QAM sessions. 

Workaround: Ensure a QAM is selected before requesting a list of sessions. 

 

If the operator uses the Send button on the emergency alert system (EAS) messages 
GUI to send multiple messages, then the GUI creates a corefile and the GUI closes.  

Workaround: Close and reopen the GUI after each message is sent. 

 

As you are setting up and saving a session, the session does not set up because the 
resources are processed with configuration errors. 

Workaround: Emergency Patch 6 (EP6) is available to correct this issue. 

 

If you have a large system with inband SI enabled, this can create a very large SI 
table to be inserted onto the QAM. Receiving this large amouhnt of data may cause 
QAM modulators to reboot.  

Workaround: This issue can be avoided by disabling inband SI. Refer to 
Recommendations for Setting System Information to Out-of-Band and follow the 
procedures provided.
