Stop the dhctStatus, signonCount, and cmd2000 Utilities (on page 30)

Back Up and Delete the copyControlParams File (on page 32)

Back Up the Informix Database (on page 33) 

At the beginning of the maintenance window, you should start with Suspend Billing 
and Third-Party Interfaces (on page 34) and complete all of the remaining 
procedures in Chapter 2. You should also complete the procedures in Chapter 3 
during the same maintenance window.
