Collect System Information
In this section, you will collect information required to reconstruct the system should
the upgrade fail. Follow these instructions to collect the system information.
1 From a root xterm window, type cd /export/home/dncs and then press Enter.

2 Type mkdir network and then press Enter. The system creates a directory called
network.
3 Type cd network and then press Enter. The /export/home/dncs/network
directory becomes the working directory.
4 Type the following commands to copy the necessary files to this newly created
directory.
