Power Redundancy
The SV Director Server can operate with a single power supply despite being
outfitted with two, thereby providing internal power redundancy. This can be
extended externally to the server by employing a strategy that ensures at least
one of the power supplies is receiving power at all times. Power to the SV
Director Server should preferably be split between two differing sources, one
source that has redundancy like a UPS, and the other source from a differing
