The RJ-45 port supports standard straight-through and crossover Category 5
unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cables. Cisco does supply one Category 5 UTP
cable (yellow) with the SV Director Server. If more UTP cables are needed,

To connect the cable to the appliance network interface connector (NIC) port:
1. Connect one end of the cable to the NIC port on the server.
2. Connect the other end to a hub or switch in your network.

You will need to connect a terminal to the SV Director Server console port when
you install the SV Director software. Only one serial (console) port can be used
at a time because they are shared.
