•  There is no error reporting thus no way of knowing that the background was applied to a specific 

phone 

As an alternative, you can use a third-party application called VoIP Integration Background Deployer 
for bulk background deployment. Further information on this application is documented in the 

 application note located on Cisco.com. 

Enabling IP Phones for Local TV Control 

After the Cisco IP Phone and CUCM have been installed and are operational, to enable the Cisco IP 
Phone to act as local control for a designated area (such as a luxury suite) do the following: 

On CUCM:  
•  Configure Cisco StadiumVision services for the IP 

Phone  

•  Configure any speed dials 
•  Configure the IP Phone display:

  For luxury suites, set the display of the IP Phone to 

the Cisco StadiumVision Services home page

  For administrative areas, the display should be left 

as default  

•  Load the Cisco StadiumVision background graphic. 

CUCM Configuration 

 On Cisco StadiumVision Director:  
•  Identify the CUCM server 
•  Configure the TabSynch User password (for 

speeddials) 

•  Define the IP Phone as a control device and specify 

whether it is used in a luxury suite environment (both 
TV control and commerce integration services are 
enabled) or in an administrative office (only TV control 
services are enabled) 

•  Associate the DMPs with local control area (Luxury 

Suite) and label the DMPs to assist in TV identification 
by the user 

•  Associate the IP Phone with local control area (Luxury 

Suite)  

•  Change the IP Phone background to the provided 

Cisco StadiumVision graphic (or venue-specific 
graphic) 

•  Change the timeout values on the IP phone (optional)

Configuration 

Enabling Third-Party Touch Panels for Local TV Control 

Work with the Crestron or AMX integration partner to ensure that the touch-panel is operational 
(connected to the network). If you have developed an application with the User Control API, other 
considerations, such as wireless connectivity, might need to be addressed.
