Added the following caution to the “Installing the Cisco MXE 3500” section: We recommend that 
you use the supplied attachment hardware to rack-mount the system. Failure to use the correct 
hardware or to follow the correct procedures could result in damage to the system. For rack 
requirements an installation procedures, see the Hardware Installation Guide for Cisco MXE 3500.
Hardware Installation Guide for Cisco MXE 3500
The “Overview” Chapter now states “Do not remove” the DVD-RW drive and Hard drive (two) in 
the Front Panel Features table. 
Added the following caution to the “Rack Requirements” section in the Installing the Cisco MXE 
3500 chapter: We recommend that you use the supplied attachment hardware to rack-mount the 
system. Failure to use the correct hardware or to follow the correct procedures could result in 
damage to the system.
