Change directory to the DomainConversionUtility directory then run domcvt.exe. 
For example:

At the prompt type: cd\DomainConversionTool\domcvt

Press Enter. An explanation of the options available for use in the command 
string appears.

Run the Domain Conversion Tool to move user information from the 4.6.2 Logger 
and domain controller into the new 5.0 environment. For example:

You must be able to access the location of original 4.6.2 file created by 
the Domain Conversion Tool.

Access the directory E:\ConversionBackup.

At the prompt type:

domcvt.exe /DB:<enter the database name> 
/F:"E:\ConversionBackup\dbname.cvt" /M:C /OD:<enter the old domain 
name> /ND:<enter the new domain name> /P:<enter the password>

Using the /P switch at the end of the string creates a global password 
for all users. If you opt not to use a password, do not use the /P switch. 
Be aware, however, this also occurs globally and could constitute a 
security risk.

No user security settings are converted from ICM 4.6.2 to ICM 5.0 during the 
upgrade migration process. User security settings must be manually input to be 
re-established for ICM 5.0.

Install Windows 2000 SP3.

Join the domain.
