To select options for highlight, line, and scribble annotations:

Click the Annotation Options button in the Annotation toolbar.
The Annotation Options dialog box appears.

To delete annotations:

Click the Select Annotation button in the Annotation toolbar.

Select the annotation you want to delete by clicking it.
You can select line, scribble, and highlight annotations all at once by
holding down your mouse button and drawing a box around them.
