Double-click to see a list of
currencies, or type a
currency name.

The currency code is an
abbreviation of the
currency name, such as
FRF for French francs.
Enter the symbol, such as £,
that you want to use for
the foreign currency.

Note:  You cannot change to a different currency after you
have processed transactions in this currency and cannot
change the currency code or number of decimal places. Be
sure to enter the correct information.
4.  In the Exchange Rate table, enter a date and an exchange
rate.

You can enter up to two
years of dates and rates. If
a transaction falls between
two dates, the program
uses the earlier rate.
If you use an average
exchange rate for a given
period, such as a week,
and want to be reminded
to bring the rate up to
date, check this box and
enter a frequency.
Fill in a Web site address so
you can quickly look up
exchange rates. Click the
button to open the site,
from this screen or from
any transaction window
(such as an invoice) that
uses foreign currency.

How does the
exchange rate work?
Note:  The program multiplies the foreign currency by the
exchange rate to calculate its value in the home currency. For
example, if your home currency is dollars and it costs you
$145 to buy £100, the exchange rate is 1.45.
