SOUND CATEGORIES
The Virus gives you the option of
classing the stored SINGLE sounds
in categories. With the benefit of
these categories, you’ll be able to
find a desired sound much faster.

You have the following categories

Every SINGLE sound can be
assigned to up to two categories
by means of the parameters CATE-
GORY 1

ple, you could assign the attributes
"Bass" and "Acid" or "Lead" and
"Favorite 1" to a given sound. These
categories may be changed at any
time and can be stored along with
the sound. The factory sounds are
assigned default categories.

Once you’ve assigned categories,
you can search for the sounds
within a specific category in SIN-
GLE mode and MULTI-SINGLE
mode:

Press and hold the SINGLE button,
then use the PARAMETER buttons
to select the category in which you
want to search for sounds. Hold
the SINGLE button down and use
the VALUE buttons to select

currently selected category. It

CATEGORY 1 or CATEGORY 2; in
either case, it will show up in the
