Mac OS X installation
This section provides information about the various installation dialog box sequences for the Mac OS
X operating system.
Main Install dialog box sequence
This section provides information about the Macintosh installation dialog box sequence for the Easy
Install (the typical installation option).

If the CD screen does not open automatically, when the CD is put into the CD-ROM drive, double-
click the hp color LaserJet 9500mfp CD-ROM icon on the desktop to open the installer folder.
In the hp color LaserJet 9500mfp folder, double-click the hp LaserJet Installers folder to open it.
In the hp LaserJet Installers folder, double-click the installer icon for the language you want to use.
This begins the install process.
When you run the installer you might first see the Authenticate dialog box (OS X, V10.1 and later
only).
