To identify connectors for external devices

Locating connectors on the computer
1. Universal serial bus (USB) ports.
2. Infrared port.
3. External monitor port.
4. Modem port (on certain models).
5. LAN port.
6. Audio jacks: audio out (headphones), external microphone.
