You can also use the 

Display 

to preview a picture. The 

Display 

shows a more accurate view of what your picture will look like. 

This is useful for close-up photos and for instances in which 

framing your subject is important. To take a picture by using 

the 

Display

:

Frame your subject in the 

Display

 screen, and then press the 

Shutter 

button.

You can use digital zoom to make your subject appear closer. 

When you are using digital zoom, always use the 

Display

 to 

preview the zoom effect on your subject. 

To use digital zoom:

Press the 

 button once to turn on digital zoom. The

   

icon appears on the 

Display

.

Pressing the 

 button twice activates the self-

timer.

Use the 

Display

 to frame your subject, and then take the 

picture. To cancel digital zoom, press the 

 button 

twice.
