READING SECTION

• When the document rises up even slightly from the glass surface, that

section is read as black. So, the document must be held down by a

roller.

• As the document is pressed against the glass surface, there is the possi-

bility that documents that tend to stick such as photographs cannot be

fed.

• As the roller is held in contact with the glass surface, it is difficult to

clean the contact sensor.
