Historically, access points shipped with both 
recessed and flush ceiling grid clips.

• Only one is needed for installation; the other one was 

thrown away.

• Ceilings in most buildings today are configured for 

recessed ceiling tiles.

• The recessed ceiling grid clip can be used in flush 

ceiling tile installations. The additional ¼” gap does 
not affect the safety or security of the installation.
