Operation
1.  Before using this bottle jack make sure that it
is filled with a standard hydraulic oil and that
the air is bled from the system.
2.  Refer  to  your  vehicle  owner's  manual  to
locate  the  safe  lifting/support  locations,  and
to  verify  that  the  lifting  point  of  the  vehicle
does  not  exceed  the  maximum  load  for  the
bottle jack.
3.  Make sure the vehicle engine is OFF.
4.  Apply the vehicle emergency brake and make
sure that the vehicle is on flat stable ground.
5.  Block the wheels to prevent the vehicle from
rolling.
6.  Set  the  transmission  in  PARK  (automatic)
or REVERSE (manual).
For the next step, DO NOT open the release 
valve  quickly.  If  you  ignore  this  warning, 
the vehicle may drop fast enough to cause 
equipment  damage  or  serious  personal 
injury.
12.  Place  the  valve  control  socket  shown  in
Figure  1  on  the  release  valve,  and  slowly
turn the valve counterclockwise so the vehi-
cle slowly lowers onto the jack stands.
13.  double  check  that  the  jack  stands  are  sup-
porting the vehicle safely.
14.  Close the control valve on the jack. if possible
for  additional  safety  and  a  quick-lift  option
leave the jack in its lifting position.

3.  Use the valve control socket at the end of the
handle  to  close  (turn  clockwise)  the  release
valve  (
Figure  1),  then  pump  the  jack  a  few
times to bleed the hydraulic system.
4.  Repeat Step 2 to top off the hydraulic oil.
7.  Position  the  bottle  jack  under  the  vehicle
where the owner's manual indicates is a safe
location.
8.  Rotate  the  gripping  elevation  screw  until  it
contacts the lifting point on the vehicle.
9.  Use the valve control socket at the end of the
handle  to  close  (turn  clockwise)  the  release
valve.
10.  While staying clear from the underside of the
vehicle, pump the jack and raise the vehicle
to the appropriate height.
11.  While staying clear from the underside of the
vehicle,  place  and  lock  your  jack  stands  at
the appropriate support locations.
