Serial Data Port

Connect the serial data cable to the female DB-9 connector on the back panel of the print 
engine. For all RS-232 connections through a DB-25 cable, use a DB-9 to DB-25 interface 
module (see 

 shows the pin configuration and function of the rear panel serial data connector on 

the print engine.

Adapters are available from Zebra Technologies LLC. 

• RS-422/RS-485 adapter, Zebra part number 33114M

• RS-232 DB-9 to DB-25 adapter, Zebra part number 33109M
