• Set “Maximum speed (bps):” field to “57600”.
• Check “Enable hardware flow control”, 

“Enable modem error control” and “Enable 

modem compression”. Click “OK”.

13. Click the “Networking” tab.

Under “Type of Dial-Up Server”:

• Select  “PPP: Windows 95/98/NT4/2000, 

Network”

• Check “Log on to network”
• Check “Enable software compression”
• Check “TCP/IP”
• Uncheck all others.
