1. Introduction
The 1166P/1266P is CipherLab Wireless scanner utilizing Bluetooth Technology.
The scanner has a range of over 50 meters and a battery life is over 50 hours or
35,000 scans for1166P and over 36 hours or 26,000 scans for 1266P. The
difference between 1166P and 1266P is the barcode scan engine installed inside the
scanner. The 1166P scanner uses CCD linear imager, whereas the 1266P scanner
uses a Laser engine.
