Chapter 4 Installation

According to different installation environments, there are three modes of R8860E GU198

installation:

l

Pole-mount installation

l

Wall-mount installation

l

Gantry-mount installation

l

Simplified-cabinet integrative Installation

There are two installation methods for R8860E GU198, as below:

l

Pole mounted installation (Pole Mounting Kit): It is suggested that the diameter of

installation pole should be 60 mm ~ 120 mm.

l

Pole mounted installation (Universal Sheet-Metal Kit):

It is suggested that the

diameter of installation pole should be 60 mm ~ 114 mm.

l

Wall mounted installation.

The universal sheet-metal kit also support channel iron and angle iron. The supported

channel width is 50mm–100mm. The supported angle iron width is 63mm-80mm. (The

installation method is similar to the pole installation.)
