7.  The voice or text message from the other party will be heard or displayed on the  

TTY equipment, depending on the TTY mode selected. 

The security menu allows you to lock your phone electronically. To access the Security 
menu, select Main Menu

→Settings→System→Security from standby mode. 

Note: You will need to enter the phone lock code to enter this menu. The default password 
for an inactivated phone is 0000.  Once you have activated your handset, the default 
lock code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number. 

If the updated lock code is lost or forgotten, please contact your service provider. 

The following options are available: 

Lock Mode: Choose between Unlock, Lock and On Power Up. The On Power Up 
setting will automatically lock your phone when it is powered on. 

This menu allows you to change the phone’s lock code. To change 

your code: 

1.  Select Main Menu

→Settings→System→Security→Change Code from standby 

mode. 

2.  Enter your old lock code. 

3.  Input the new code (1 to 8 characters). 

4.  Input the new code again to confirm. 

Restore Factory Settings: Reset to the default security settings.
