TTY Mode
Your handset is a TTY compatible device. Simply connect the TTY equipment to the USB jack
with the ZTE TTY-to-USB connector. To access the phone’s TTY settings, select Menu→
Settings→System→TTY mode. Use the UP and DOWN keys to choose between the
following settings:

TTY Full: Users who cannot talk or hear may use this setting to send and receive text
messages through TTY equipment.

Connecting to TTY Equipment
1.
Connect the cable from the TTY device into the ZTE TTY-to-USB connector.
2.
Plug the USB connector into the jack on the right side of the phone.
3.
Enter the TTY Mode menu and select the desired TTY Mode (shown above).
4.
After setting the TTY mode, check the LCD screen on the phone for the TTY icon.
5.
Connect the TTY equipment to the power source and turn it on.
6.
Make a phone connection to the desired number.
7.
When a connection is made, use the TTY equipment to send a text message, or speak (for
TTY+Talk mode).
