1. Signal strength: The strength of the signal received by the device is indicated by the number
of bars displayed.
2. Message: Press the Left Soft Key to select this option.
3. MENU: Press the OK Key to select this option.
4. Contacts: Press the Right Soft Key to select this option.
5. Location: Location information sharing mode.
6. Battery strength: Four bars indicate a fully charged battery.

Digital Signal Strength: Digital service is available. More bars indicate a stronger
signal.
1X Signal Strength: CDMA 1X service is available. More bars indicate a stronger
signal.
GSM Signal Strength: GSM service is available. More bars indicate a stronger signal.
GPRS Signal Strength: GPRS service is available. More bars indicate a stronger
signal.
Airplane Mode: Airplane Mode is on.
Roaming: The phone is outside the home service area and roaming.
SSL: Data communication is encrypted by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
Voice Privacy: The Voice Privacy feature is active.
Data Call: Data call is in progress.
Dormant: Data call is in the dormant state. No data is being transmitted or received.
No Service: Your phone is outside the service area.
TTY: TTY mode is active.
Voice Call: A voice call is in progress.
E911: Global Positioning Service (GPS) location feature for 911 is enabled (for
emergency calls only).

Keypad Lock: The keypad is locked.
