  Caution:Do  not  force  the  battery  cover  into  place  by  pressing  on  it.  Doing  so  will  damage  the 
battery cover. 
 
 
 
 
Installing the Battery 
  Notes:

 The phone automatically switches off if the battery power is too low. 
 
•
 If you are not going to use the battery for a long time, remove it from the phone and store it in a cool dry 
place. 
 
 
Insert the battery as shown with the contacts located against the gold springs. 
 
  Notes:
 
The battery only fits one way. 
 
 
 
 
Inserting the (U)SIM Card 
You can obtain a (U)SIM card from your service provider when you sign on as a subscriber. 
  Notes:
 
 
•
 Do not bend or scratch your (U)SIM card. Keep the card away from electricity and magnets. 
 
•
 Do not touch the metal surface of the (U)SIM card. Doing so could cause information on the card to be 
lost or destroyed. 
 
•
 Make  sure  to  disconnect  the  charger  and  other  accessories  from  your  phone  and  remove  the  battery 
before inserting and removing your (U)SIM card. 
 
 
1. Insert the USIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the bevelled edge on the left hand side as 
shown.
