Use the Bluetooth settings menu to enable or disable your phone

’s Bluetooth capabilities. 

1.  Touch 

 > 

 > Settings. 

2.  Slide the switch next to Bluetooth to turn it ON or OFF. 

An even easier way to turn Bluetooth on or off is with the Power control widget on the 

home screen. To add the Power control widget, touch  

 > 

 > WIDGETS and 

touch and hold the widget thumbnail to add the widget to an empty spot on one of the 
home screens.  

Note:  Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in places where using a 

wireless phone is prohibited, such as aboard an aircraft and in hospitals. 

The Bluetooth settings menu gives you access to information and controls for your phone

’s 

Bluetooth feature.
