USING THE SPY LISTENER
1. Power on the TRANSMITTER (Fig. 1) by flipping       to “on”. 
2. Place the TRANSMITTER in a secret location. Adjust the ANTENNA so it's     
 
    sticking up and point the LISTENING DISH in the direction of the sound you       
  want to hear.
3. Unwrap the EAR BUD (Fig. 2) from the EARBUD REST and place it in your ear.     
  Attach the RECEIVER onto your belt or clothing with the BELT CLIP. 
4. Find a secret stakeout location up to 75 feet from the TRANSMITTER.
5. Power on the RECEIVER (Fig. 2) by turning the ON/OFF VOLUME CONTROL        
  WHEEL. Adjust the volume by continuing to turn the dial. 
6. Power off the TRANSMITTER by flipping       to “off”. Power off the RECEIVER by     
  turning the ON/OFF VOLUME CONTROL WHEEL. 
SPY TIP
For improved audio clarity, place the transmitter closer to the desired target.
BATTERY SAFETY
•  Requires 2 9V (6LR61) batteries (1 for transmitter and 1 for receiver), not included. 
•  Only adults should install and replace batteries.
•  Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
•  Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
•  Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
•  Remove dead or exhausted batteries.
•  Insert batteries correctly. Match positive and negative signs.
•  The supply terminals are not to be short circuited.
•  Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) 
batteries.
•  Do not mix old and new batteries.
•  Only the batteries of the same or equivalent type recommended to be used.
•  Do not dispose batteries in a fire; they may explode.
•  Dispose of batteries safely.
ATTENTION ADULTS: TO REPLACE BATTERIES 
Use a small Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery cover of the 
TRANSMITTER (Fig. 3) and the RECEIVER (Fig. 4).
1. Open battery covers. Remove exhausted batteries.
2. Place one new battery in the compartment of each unit as shown in the images. 
3. Replace the battery covers and tighten screws.
