Automatic Identification System
To broadcast a message, perform the following:
(1)
Press MSG key.
(2)
Verify that they MMSI number is all zeros.
(3)
If the MMSI is not all zeros, press the down arrow key until the MMSI is high-
lighted.

Press the ENT key, and enter all zeros for the MMSI number.

Press the down arrow key to highlight “Mode” and press the ENT key.

Using the down arrow key, highlight “Broadcast”, and press the ENT key.

Using the down arrow key, highlight the message portion of the screen, type in
the message.
